These are structural templates, not content. They give you the right sections in the right order with notes on what each must establish. What goes in them is your work.

Before you use any of them
- Your university's prescribed format governs. Where your institution specifies section order, headings or word limits, follow that — these templates are the common structure, not a substitute for your ordinance.
- Formats differ, and change. If your department gives you a format that conflicts with one of these, theirs wins. Tell us and we will note the difference on the university page.
- The consent form does not give you ethics approval. It is a document you submit to your committee, not a replacement for their clearance.
Books
We publish books across several research areas. They are listed separately from these templates, because a template is something you fill in and a book is something you work through. That section is not open yet.
